I’m thrilled to announce that the literary magazine, Academy of the Heart and Mind, named my short story, Mannequins in the Hobbit Barn, as one of the winners in their “13 Days of Halloween” contest.
The story is based on an experience I had during the early 1990s along the Niobrara River in north-central Nebraska. Those and other memories of that time and place will appear in one of my upcoming books. Thanks for reading!
